Finance, Human Resources, Corporate Improvement and Performance, ICT, Internal Audit, Health and Safety, Procurement and Communications are all the services which make up the Corporate Services team. Some of these services are also provided in partnership with other local authorities. The team has a strong ethos of working in partnership with front line services in order to understand and support their role.
Strong project management skills are fundamental to support the Council to make the innovative improvements it needs to stay ahead of the game. We can help by offering Project Management training as well as the experience you need to put this knowledge into practice.
Professional qualifications; CIPFA, CIPD, AAT and NEBOSH are required for some of the professional roles in this area. We look to develop those who are newly qualified as well as supporting people to attain these qualifications and develop their professional career. As a small Council we can offer a wide breadth of knowledge and experience.
All of our professional services are well supported by a resilient administration team with excellent digital and communication skills. The Administration support provided ensure that meetings are organised and serviced, correspondence is responded to, data is kept up to date and secure together with a range of other roles to support their service area.
