Strong project management skills are fundamental to support the Council to make the innovative improvements it needs to stay ahead of the game. We can help by offering Project Management training as well as the experience you need to put this knowledge into practice.

Professional qualifications; CIPFA, CIPD, AAT, and CIPS are required for some of the professional roles in this area. We look to develop those who are newly qualified as well as supporting people to attain these qualifications and develop their professional career. As a small Council, we can offer a wide breadth of knowledge and experience.

All of our professional services are well supported by a resilient administration team with excellent digital and communication skills. The administrative support provided ensures that meetings are organised and serviced, correspondence is responded to, data is kept up to date and secure together with a range of other roles to support their service area.

The Governance team is the heart of the decision-making at the Council who also focuses on providing civic support to the Mayor and the running of elections.

If you are looking for a legal career then why not consider what local government has to offer. As a qualified lawyer, you are required to give advice to council staff on a variety of matters from contracts to planning.
